The Poppy Knight

Unlike most of the other knights, the Poppy Knight does not wear any metal armor. The only protection they wear is made from leather that is finely detailed with an intricate vining pattern. They also may be the most patient and soft-spoken of all the knights. A knight of few words, but the best of listeners. They emanate a quiet but strong, calm but hopeful presence. Here to listen to anyone who doesn’t want to “burden” others with their thoughts, worries or sorrows. The Poppy Knight will never judge. The Poppy Knight will allow anyone who needs to talk to speak for as long as they have a need to - and at the end of their often one-sided conversations the Knight may offer a few words that somehow feel like a breeze through your mind, or maybe place in your palm just a handful of poppy seeds to plant your own path into the future.

The Poppy Knight carries a long sword, with a red hilt topped with a pommel caged in fine woven silver. The sword and garland are handmade from red, green, black and clear glass, which has been painted by hand and heated to an enamel finish. The poppy garland shows poppies in different stages of their lives - bud, flower, and seed pod. As with all the Knights, the sword and garland can be hung separately or together.

The new Knights Collection will be available on Saturday, August 16th at 6pm EST. Each one of a kind stained glass sword is decorated with a garland of the knight’s flora or fruit, and can be removed from the sword to be displayed as a separate hanging.
