Most items are made to order (except one of a kind and ready to ship pieces). Check above for delivery estimates. If your order is time sensitive please let me know and I will do my best to accommodate!
All orders are sent out using USPS Priority Mail. A tracking confirmation will be sent out by email and the customer should receive their shipment in 2-3 days from the time it is sent.
Shipping costs cover packaging, weight and insurance due to the fragility of glass. If an order arrives damaged please email me with photos as soon as possible at abjglassworks (at) gmail (dot) com. I will issue a refund (for one of a kind pieces) or send out a replacement and issue a claim upon confirmation.
Please email me with any special shipping requests (expedited shipping or gift packaging).
If the shipping address is within the city limits of Philadelphia I will be happy to drop off locally and refund the shipping charges!
Shipping quotes are for USPS Priority Mail Service. These costs may be high and I understand if you would like to send your order with standard mail instead. If you wish to make this change please contact me for an estimate, and I will refund the difference after payment is received. If you decide to make this change the customer is solely responsible for the package's arrival, as full insurance and tracking is not available with this service. With that being said, I have successfully sent orders using standard service in the past.ABJ Glassworks is not accountable for any duty or customs charges that may occur during international shipment. Please keep this in mind when ordering and be aware of your country's postal policies. We also cannot be held responsible for items lost or stolen during transit. Please contact us if you would like to add insurance to your postage, or upgrade for quicker delivery and we will invoice you for the additional fee.
Terms, Refunds & Exchanges
I attempt to list and photograph my works as accurately as possible, with full measurements and color descriptions.
If you would like to exchange an object, please inquire within 10 days following the receipt of the object. be sure to include the following in your package: your name, address, order number, the item you wish to exchange for, and a check for the price difference. Items must be shipped back in the condition in which they were received - with the original tags and packaging
If what you received is as described but you wish to return it, you can do so for store credit or I will issue a refund less 10% for fees/expenses incurred. The buyer must contact me within 10 days of receiving the item in order to be eligible to return it. The buyer is also responsible for return shipping to my studio. Postage and packaging are non-refundable.
If the object received is damaged, please contact me within 48 hours with a photograph of the damage incurred to your item.
Custom orders are final sale and ineligible for return or exchange.
I am more than happy to create custom works, please contact me with your idea(s).
If you would like something listed made in colored glass please let me know what color(s) and I will email back with samples and pricing. Anything listed can also be made in alternative sizes (larger or smaller).
Additional Information & FAQs
All pieces are made using non-toxic flux, lead-free glass and a lead-free, silver alloy solder.
Glass is a fragile medium and all pieces should be used with care.
Although they are very strong as a whole, all terrariums are intended
for inside use only. They are not suitable for use outdoors.
