Mythic Creatures - Silver Serpent

A stained glass serpent, handpainted in silver and fired to an enamel finish. Inspired by the tales of snakes and serpents in folklore and mythology, it is one of the oldest and most widespread mythological symbols. Snakes have been associated with some of the oldest rituals known to mankind and represent dual expression of good and evil. This serpent was cut from a textured grey stained glass and detailed entirely in silver. A forked silver tongue extends from the top.

Two discreet loops are attached to the sides of the snake and then connected by a silver chain for hanging.
