A festive wreath of mistletoe with stained glass leaves and berries. The stems are made of flexible wire, secured together with a dab of solder and decorated with two hanging brass bells.

From the earliest times mistletoe has been one of the most magical, mysterious, and sacred plants of European folklore. Kissing under the mistletoe is first found associated with the Greek festival of Saturnalia and later with primitive marriage rites. Later, the eighteenth-century English credited with a certain magical appeal called a kissing ball. At Christmas time a young lady standing under a ball of mistletoe, brightly trimmed with evergreens, ribbons, and ornaments, cannot refuse to be kissed. Such a kiss could mean deep romance or lasting friendship and goodwill!

Each wreath is made with 4 stems fixed permanently on to a 8” solid brass ring, with leaves and berries in various shades of stained glass. Adjustable wire stems allow you to change the shape to your liking, as you can see in the product photos. Ready to hang from a metal loop from your door, on your wall, or as tradition holds, from the doorframe between two rooms.

Choose either white/clear berries or red berries.
