The Forsythia Knight

The Forsythia Knight is usually spotted a month or so after the Snowdrop Knight comes to the village, and around the same time as the arrival of the Pussy Willow Knight, when the forest is just starting to hint with shades of springtime greens. Their linen cape is a deep green lined in bright yellow that flashes as they move through the trees. The Forsythia Knight and the Pussy Willow Knight are great friends and often travel together. They both love to tell stories of the past that are woven with lessons for the future.

This is the short sword of the Forsythia Knight, with a yellow hilt filigreed in silver and gold. The sword and garland are handmade from yellow, green, and clear glass, which have been painted by hand and heated to an enamel finish. As with all the Knights, the sword and garland can be hung separately or together.

The new Knights Collection will be available on Thursday, April 30th at 6pm EST. Each one of a kind stained glass sword is decorated with a garland of the knight’s flora or fruit, and can be removed from the sword to be displayed as a separate hanging.
