A depiction of Bilbo's (then Frodo's) sword Sting from the Hobbit and the Lord of the Rings, re-interpreted in stained glass.
The handle of the sword is a deep brown stained glass that has been handpainted in silver fired to an enamel finish. The blade has two options - either (1) with a clear glass blade as shown in the first 2 images, or (2) with a silvery blue blade as shown in the last 2 photos, mimicking the glow that Sting emanates when orcs or goblins are near. I have handpainted this wash of blue and silver on the clear glass blade and fired to an enamel finish, so light can still shine through.

Height: 13” (final dimension may be longer to elongate the final shard)
Width: 3” (at widest point)

All stained glass swords are handmade to order and will ship in 6-8 weeks from time of order.
All handmade by ABJ Glassworks outside of Philadelphia using lead-free silver alloy solder and eco-friendly techniques.
