Part of the Language of Flowers Collections. Traditionally the Calla Lily flower can symbolize your attraction to another. The Calla Lily can also express the idea of life and fertility. In Greek mythology Zeus sneakily brought is half-mortal son Hercules to nurse from his wife, the goddess Hera. When she woke she flung the baby from her, spraying her milk across the sky and each droplet grew as a Calla Lily. The beautiful blooms made Venus so jealous that she cursed the flower with an unsightly spike in the middle.

The details of the Calla Lily flower is handpainted and fired on a wispy white glass, then combined with green leaves, creating the effect of the stem floating within the brass frame. A discreet copper loop is fixed to the top for hanging.
